CHERLab: Participate
POTENTIAL RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS
All of our current projects are seeking participants!
Are you
A parent of a child birth to 7 years? OR
An adult 18-years-old and over? OR
A teenager living in the Greater Boston Area, Medford, Somerville, or NYC area?
Do you want to participate in any of the research projects? If so, please contact the lab at cherlab@sph.cuny.edu.
INTERESTED COMMUNITY PARTNERS
The Child Health Equity Research Lab is always looking for community partners to work with in several capacities. We have collaborated with community organizations on organization-driven projects, conducted program evaluations, and on several of our lab projects. If your organization is interested in learning more about collaborating with the Child Health Equity Research Lab, please contact us at sasha.fleary@sph.cuny.edu.
UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES
The CHERLAB welcomes undergraduates and master’s level students from diverse majors and backgrounds who are interested in children’s health! We believe that students can learn a lot about the research process, working with communities, and, of course, preventive health and mental well-being through the research experiences available in our lab. Research experience is an important part of the application for most graduate school programs and could be the deciding factor in competitive programs. Students may volunteer in the lab, enroll in directed study for credit, or work in the lab through paid work study (where applicable). There are also some limited non-work study paid positions. Interested students should contact Dr. Fleary at sasha.fleary@sph.cuny.edu.
POTENTIAL DOCTORAL STUDENTS
Are you a current undergraduate or master’s student interested in furthering your education studying preventive health and mental well-being in children, adolescents, and families with an emphasis on health equity? If so, please contact Dr. Fleary at sasha.fleary@sph.cuny.edu
